recover iPhone XS access code

I am looking for a freelancer who can help me to recover the access code of my iPhone XS. As weird as may sound, sat.30th Sept., when I switched on the phone in the morning, it showed a string of six instead of 4 characters to get access(!); I didn't either updated the IOS, let alone creating a 6 nbrs psw! I contacted the Apple support which told me that if any, the only chance was to update it to IOS 17, so we did, but with same result. I can't believe that it can't be techically possible, especially by Apple. Now I am thinking that I got hacked or got a virus. The current operating system version is: IOS 17 (not iOS 12 or iOS 13). I haven't backed up my device on iTunes or iCloud, so the files are all stored within my device. What's more, these files are very important — recovering the access code would give me access to them.
