Purchase and post an iPad from Canberra to Sydney

I'm purchasing an iPad Mini 5 from someone on Gumtree.
I live in Sydney so it's far away for me to inspect and buy. I need someone to go over, inspect the iPad to make sure it's in great condition and deliver (or post) it back to me. This job would suit someone that is familiar with iPads and are planning to drive from Sydney to Canberra.
I'd prefer if you can deliver as it's less chance of it getting damaged by post, but I suppose the risk is low
