iOS Usability Test Before Launch

Job ID: 40420627

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I am looking for an experienced iOS QA Tester to thoroughly test my upcoming mobile game, Scripture Showdown, before I submit it to Apple for App Store Review.

The app is fully built (React/Capacitor) and is currently available on TestFlight. I need someone who understands Apple’s strict Human Interface Guidelines and App Store Review Guidelines to help me identify any reasons Apple might reject the app.

Key Responsibilities & Test Cases Required: You will be provided with a TestFlight invite. You must record your screen or provide a detailed bug report for the following specific test cases:

In-App Purchases (IAP) & Paywall:
Create a Sandbox Apple ID.
Test purchasing premium features/currency.
Verify that the "Restore Purchases" button works correctly without crashing.
Verify that premium features unlock immediately after purchase.
Authentication Flow:
Test creating a new account (Email/Password).
Test logging in and out.
Test playing as a "Guest".
Crucial: Verify that the "Delete Account" button in settings works completely (this is a strict Apple requirement).
UI / UX Responsiveness:
Test the app on an iPhone (checking for notch and home-bar safe area issues).
Test the app on an iPad (Apple tests on iPads, so the UI must not break or crash, even if designed for iPhone).
Check for horizontal scrolling/overflow bugs.
Offline Handling:
Turn on Airplane Mode while using the app.
Verify that the app handles the lack of internet gracefully without crashing or freezing on a white screen.
Requirements:

Must have an iPhone and an iPad (or iPad simulator).
Must have experience with Apple TestFlight and Sandbox testing.
Previous experience testing apps for App Store Approval is highly preferred.
Must provide a final checklist report with screenshots/screen-recordings of any bugs found.
To Apply: Please briefly mention your experience with iOS App Store testing and confirm you have the devices required to test.
