iOS Deadline Countdown App
Budget: $750 – $1,500 CAD
I need a lightweight iOS application that lets me type in a client’s name, add one or more key dates, and then automatically generates the rest of the schedule in a live countdown view. I will have up to 100 active clients at any given time, so the interface has to stay quick and clutter-free.
Everything is entered manually on-screen; no imports or calendar sync are required right now. Once a deadline is saved I want to choose my own alert offsets—anything from “3 weeks 2 days” to “15 minutes”—and have the app queue local push notifications accordingly. Small, silent (badge or haptic) alerts are perfect; the emphasis is simply on being reminded without breaking focus.
A compact client list, tap-through detail screen, and a global dashboard that shows the next upcoming deadline in real time would round it out. Data can live locally on the device; iCloud sync is optional but not essential for this first version.
• Deliverables
– Xcode project (Swift / SwiftUI preferred)
– TestFlight-ready build
– Simple README covering build steps, data model, and how to adjust the default date-generation logic
I’ll test on the current iOS release and the previous major version; smooth performance, accurate countdown math, and reliable notifications are the acceptance criteria.
