60-Word Sports News App

Job ID: 40627055

Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR

I want to bring a fresh, bite-sized sports experience to fans on both iOS and Android. The core of the product is simple: every breaking story is trimmed to a maximum of sixty words and displayed in a clean, scroll-friendly feed. A single tap then drives the reader straight to the original source—BBC Sport, Formula 1 sites, leading football outlets, and any other trusted sports platform we pull from—so attribution and long-form reading stay intact.

Because the app will cover multiple sports, I need an architecture that lets me plug in fresh RSS or API feeds without extra development each time a new league or tournament is added. Breaking news is the priority for launch, yet I’d like the codebase structured so future modules (match summaries, interviews, etc.) slot in easily.

Retention and engagement matter just as much as speed, so I’m looking for thoughtful touches—continuous scroll, subtle animations, swipe gestures, dark mode, push notifications that respect quiet hours, and maybe a lightweight bookmarking system. Your experience with cross-platform frameworks (Flutter, React Native, or similar) plus native deployment know-how for App Store and Google Play will be crucial.

Deliverables
• Interactive wireframes and final UI assets
• Fully functional iOS & Android builds, each passing store review guidelines
• Scalable feed parser that outputs a strictly 60-word summary, with fallback to full article links
• Basic admin panel (web or in-app) to manage sources and featured stories
• Source code, documentation, and one round of post-launch support for bug fixes

Accepted work will compile cleanly on current Xcode and Android Studio versions, run smoothly on the latest OS releases, and demonstrate sub-second load times for headline retrieval on a standard 4G connection. If this challenge sounds up your alley, I’d love to see how you’d approach it.
