Mobile Attendance Check-In App for University
I’m looking to build a mobile application that streamlines student attendance across our university. The app must run on both iOS and Android and support the following check-in methods:
QR code scanning
Manual check-in fallback
Project requirements:
A clean, intuitive UI that makes it easy for students and staff to check in.
Reliable camera integration for real-time QR code scanning.
Offline check-in capability, with automatic data sync once an internet connection is restored.
Role-based logins for:
Students
Lecturers
Admins
An admin dashboard, either web-based or embedded in the app, to:
Generate QR codes
View attendance records
Export or review attendance reports
Well-structured and clearly commented code.
Clear build and deployment instructions for both iOS and Android.
Basic testing to confirm the app works smoothly.
You will be responsible for the app architecture, development, basic UI/UX, and testing. Since I do not currently have brand guidelines or sample data, please use a simple, clean university-style design and create sample/demo data where needed.
