Uber-Like Rideshare App Creation

Job ID: 40320245

Budget: $250 – $750 NZD

I’m building a complete rideshare solution and need an experienced team or individual who can deliver everything end-to-end—passenger and driver apps for both Android and iOS plus the backend that ties it all together.

Platforms
The project targets Android and iOS simultaneously, so I expect a unified design system and a shared codebase where practical to keep future maintenance straightforward.

Two distinct apps
• Passenger app: request rides, track the driver in real time, handle in-app payments, ratings, and basic support chat.
• Driver app: in addition to the usual ride-accept/decline flow, the driver version must include the following fully tested, production-ready features:
- Real-time GPS navigation that updates turn-by-turn directions as traffic changes.
- Speed tracking that logs current and average speed per trip.
- Hard-braking notifications and automatic event recording with timestamp, coordinates, and speed at the moment of the event.

Backend
I need scalable ride-matching, fare calculation, user management, trip history, payment processing, and push notification services. Whether you prefer Firebase, AWS, or your own Node/Express stack, outline why it’s the right fit and how it will scale to thousands of concurrent users.

Deliverables
1. Production-ready Android APK and iOS IPA for both driver and passenger apps.
2. Source code with clean architecture and clear documentation.
3. Deployed backend (staging and production) with CI/CD pipelines.
4. Post-launch support for bug fixes during an agreed grace period.

Acceptance criteria will include successful test rides in a staging environment, accurate speed logs, and verified hard-braking event reports exported in JSON or CSV.

If you’ve built professional map-driven or telematics apps before and can demonstrate rock-solid experience with GPS, in-app payments, and real-time sockets, let’s talk timelines and milestones.
