Swift App Compatibility Fix
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My four-year-old Swift project no longer compiles in the current Xcode release, and I need it fully operational again without altering its look or behaviour. The target platform is iOS 15; everything should run smoothly on real devices and the latest simulator once you are done.
The build now fails around several areas—outdated interface files, third-party libraries, and APIs Apple has since deprecated. Your task is to bring the codebase up to date: adjust any Storyboards or SwiftUI views, swap or upgrade libraries (CocoaPods / SPM), and replace removed APIs with their modern equivalents while keeping every screen and workflow intact.
Deliverables
• A clean, warning-free build in the latest stable Xcode that targets iOS 15
• Updated dependency manager files with locked versions that compile out of the box
• A concise change log or pull request summarising the fixes so I can review and merge confidently
• Step-by-step setup notes in case another developer needs to replicate the build
Once these points are met and the app launches exactly as it used to—no design tweaks, no new features—the job is complete. Access to the Git repository will be provided as soon as we agree on the timeline.
