Social Media App for iOS/Android
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m building a mobile-first social network inspired by Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, and I need a full-stack partner who can take it from concept to App Store and Google Play release.
Core functionality
• Users can post photos and videos, browse a feed, and engage through likes, comments, and a friend/follow model.
• A real-time messaging system (one-to-one and group chat) must be baked in from day one.
• Select creators will be able to go Live, but their profiles must first pass a manual admin review—think blue-check style verification that I can toggle on or off from an internal dashboard.
Project scope & tech expectations
The deliverable is two polished native or cross-platform apps (iOS and Android) backed by a scalable API, plus a web-based admin console where I can:
– review documents and assets submitted for verification
– approve or deny live-stream privileges
– manage user reports and content flags
I’m open to Swift/Kotlin, Flutter, React Native, or another modern stack as long as you can demonstrate smooth video handling, push notifications, and solid security practices.
Acceptance criteria
1. Both apps pass Apple/Google review and are live in production.
2. Photo/video posting, messaging, and friend/follow flows work without crashes on current OS versions.
3. Verification queue in the admin panel updates in real time and granting approval instantly unlocks the Live button for that user.
4. Complete handover of source code, build instructions, and basic maintenance documentation.
