Resolve Xcode Build Configuration Issue
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
My iOS project no longer reaches a clean build in Xcode 12 because of a configuration mis-step I can’t pin down. The code itself compiles when the right flags are set, but schemes, signing, or other Build Settings keep flipping the build into failure.
Here’s what you’ll tackle:
• Open the existing workspace in Xcode 12 and inspect every target’s Build Settings, schemes, and provisioning profile links.
• Isolate and fix the misconfiguration that blocks a successful archive for the iOS target.
• Document the exact changes you apply—whether that’s to .xcconfig files, Info.plist entries, or signing identities—so I can repeat them on other machines.
Acceptance: the project must build and archive in Release and Debug from a clean clone using only the stock toolchain that ships with Xcode 12, no warnings elevated to errors.
Let’s keep it lightweight: no code rewrites, just the configuration corrected and a brief change log.
