Offline Receivables Accounting App
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need an offline-first Android and IOS application that lets me keep every part of my small-business bookkeeping at hand even when the internet is not. The core flow starts with creating invoices, logging expenses, and seeing real-time profit reports, but it must also go deeper into receivables so I can chase late payers automatically.
Key functions I expect the finished build to cover:
• Invoicing – generate, edit, duplicate and mark paid, all without a live connection
• Expense tracking tied to categories I can customise on the fly
• Report generation for daily, monthly and year-to-date performance
• Full ledger tracking so every debit and credit is traceable
• WhatsApp integration: one-tap send of invoices or reminders straight to the customer’s chat
• PDF & Excel generation so I can export any report or ledger slice instantly
• Automatic reminders for receivables based on each debtor’s phone number (text pushed via WhatsApp when possible)
Everything has to run locally first, then sync when a connection returns, so please keep data storage lightweight and encrypted. I prefer a clean, modern UI that mirrors familiar desktop accounting packages yet feels native to a phone. If you already work with cross-platform toolkits that deploy seamlessly to both Android and IOS, let me know your stack; I’m open as long as the final build passes the following acceptance tests:
1. App installs and opens with zero log-in requirement while offline.
2. New invoice can be created, saved, exported to PDF, and shared through WhatsApp without any network.
3. Toggling airplane mode on and off shows data syncing correctly and preserves entries.
4. Receivable reminder triggers on the set due date and reaches the correct WhatsApp contact.
Source code, build instructions and a brief user guide are part of the final deliverable.
