MyDEAP Mobile App: Phase 1 Development

Project: Native iOS App Development (Phase 1 MVP) for MyDEAP
Timeline: 4–5 weeks
Platform: iOS & Android (Swift + SwiftUI) and Katlin + Java

I am looking for a native iOS and Android developer to build Phase 1 of the MyDEAP mobile app.
The backend, APIs, authentication, and SSE chat endpoints are already fully implemented.
I need a developer who can build the mobile layer cleanly and professionally.

Phase 1 – MVP Scope
1. Authentication (AWS Cognito)
Email/password login using AWS Amplify SDK
Social login: Google, Facebook, Apple Sign‑In
Secure token storage + automatic refresh
Tier-aware session using cognito:groups

2. AI Chat (Core Feature)
SSE streaming chat (POST /api/chat/stream)
Token‑by‑token rendering of delta events
partial_sources → source citation cards
final event → complete response
Mode indicator (Intelligent / Coaching / Focused)
Conversation continuity via conversation_id
Follow‑up suggestions

3. Document Library (Read‑Only)
Document upload (camera scan)
Folder tree navigation
Document list (type, date, size)
In‑app PDF/DOCX viewer

4. Journal & Recording
Native audio recording
Upload to backend for transcription
Journal entries (create + list)

5. Settings
Profile (name, email, tier)
Logout
Connections (minimal)
Privacy & Data (minimal)

Out of Scope (Phase 1)

Notes editor
Push notifications
Subscription upgrade flows
Fireside Chat, Tools, Alerts, Copilot

Phase 2 quotation

Requirements
Strong experience with Swift + SwiftUI, Kaitlin + java
Experience with AWS Cognito (Amplify SDK)
Experience with SSE streaming
Clean architecture (MVVM or similar)
Good communication and reliability

Technical Test
Shortlisted developers will complete a 2–4 hour technical test (Cognito login + SSE streaming) before project award.
