Mobile Friends Chat App
Budget: $2 – $3 USD
I need a straightforward chat application that runs on both iOS and Android so my friends and I can message each other in real time. The only conversation mode required right now is text, but it has to feel lively—built-in emojis and a browsable sticker picker are must-haves. No voice or video calling this round.
A clean interface, quick message delivery, and solid history sync between devices are the priorities. You may use Firebase, Socket.io, AWS AppSync, or another real-time backend you trust, as long as it keeps messages snappy and secure. The architecture should be flexible enough that voice or video features could be layered on later even though they are out of scope for this milestone.
Deliverables
• Fully functional iOS and Android builds with source code
• Real-time text chat with emoji & sticker support
• Basic account system (email, phone, or social login) and secure storage of chat history
• Setup documentation and a short walk-through on adding new sticker packs
Acceptance criteria: messages appear on another device in under two seconds over average 4G, emojis render consistently on both platforms, stickers download smoothly, and the app meets current App Store and Play Store submission guidelines. I’m ready to start as soon as you can meet these points.
