My existing cross-platform app needs a full technical tune-up before it reaches the public stores. Android is showing the heaviest symptoms right now: sluggish screens, unpredictable crashes, and occasional time-outs when it talks to the backend. On top of that, several layout issues have crept into the interface, so components no longer align consistently across resolutions and devices.
I will hand over the complete codebase, current build pipelines, crash logs, and API documentation. Your mission starts with a deep diagnostic pass to pinpoint root causes, then moves into refactoring and performance hardening. Memory profiling, network inspector tools, logcat analysis, Xcode Instruments—whatever you normally rely on—should come into play so the outcome is measurable: faster load times, smooth navigation, and zero critical crashes.
Key deliverables
• Comprehensive bug report highlighting root causes and affected modules
• Optimised Android code (and any shared layers) committed to my repo with clear comments
• Fixed UI layouts verified on a range of screen sizes and orientations
• Stress-tested build for both Android and iOS, ready for release candidates
• Short hand-off document outlining changes, new architecture decisions, and next-step recommendations
Acceptance criteria
1. App launches to first interactive screen in under two seconds on mid-range Android hardware.
2. No crashes or “Application Not Responding” events during a 30-minute automated test loop.
3. All reported layout misalignments resolved and confirmed via screenshots or video.
4. API calls complete within their current server timeouts, with proper offline error handling in place.
