Long-Term Technical Partner Needed — React/Supabase/Capacitor Hybrid Native App
Project Type: Ongoing / Long-term
Platform: Web app already built, needs Capacitor mobile completion + production management
Tech Stack: React, TypeScript, Vite, Supabase, Edge Functions, Capacitor, iOS, Android
I am looking for a serious, reliable developer or small technical team to help manage and complete my existing platform.
This is not a simple landing page or small app. The platform already exists as a production-style web application built with React, TypeScript, Supabase, and edge functions. I need someone who can help stabilize, manage, and finish the mobile app layer using Capacitor, including partial hybrid-native work where needed.
The right person should be comfortable working on an existing codebase, auditing before changing things, and making improvements in careful phases.
Main responsibilities:
1. Complete the Capacitor setup for iOS and Android.
2. Prepare the app for App Store and Google Play submission.
3. Handle native mobile requirements such as permissions, deep links, file handling, camera/photo access, push notifications, app icons, splash screens, and secure storage.
4. Add partial hybrid-native functionality where web-only behavior is not good enough.
5. Help manage and maintain the existing platform.
6. Review current architecture before making changes.
7. Improve reliability, performance, and mobile UX.
8. Help with Supabase functions, auth, storage, RLS, and production QA when needed.
9. Work in phases with clear scopes, testing, and documentation.
10. Avoid breaking existing web functionality while completing mobile.
Required experience:
Strong React + TypeScript experience
Strong Capacitor experience
Experience shipping iOS and Android apps
Experience with Xcode and Android Studio
Supabase experience, including auth, storage, database, and edge functions
Ability to debug production issues carefully
Comfortable working with an existing Lovable-generated or AI-assisted codebase
Good communication and documentation
Must be able to explain risks before making major changes
Nice to have:
Experience with hybrid-native architecture
Push notifications
In-app purchases or credit-wallet systems
Cloudflare, object storage, CDN, or app security experience
AI app experience
App Store / Play Store deployment experience
Important:
I do not want someone who just says “yes” to everything. I need someone who can audit, validate, warn me about risks, and help me make the right technical decisions.
This will be done in phases. The first phase will be an audit of the existing app and a written plan for completing Capacitor and mobile deployment. After that, we will move into implementation.
First milestone:
Review the current project structure
Audit the Capacitor/mobile readiness
Identify blockers for iOS and Android
Create a phase-by-phase implementation plan
Estimate the work required for App Store and Google Play readiness
Please include in your response:
1. Examples of Capacitor apps you have worked on.
2. Whether you have shipped apps to iOS and Android stores.
3. Your experience with React, TypeScript, and Supabase.
4. How you would approach auditing the project before making changes.
5. Your availability for long-term work.
I am looking for someone dependable who can grow with the project, not a one-time quick fix.
