Livestock Farm Management Mobile App

Job ID: 39836129

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I run a small-to-mid-size livestock operation and I need a straightforward mobile app I can download directly from both the Apple App Store and Google Play to keep daily records organised in one place.

Core scope
– The first release will focus solely on animal tracking. I want to be able to add each animal manually, assign basic identifiers (ear-tag number, breed, date of birth, notes) and then update that record as events occur—movements between paddocks, weight checks, treatments, sales, etc.
– All data entry will be done by hand; no GPS or RFID integration is needed at this stage.

Nice-to-have for future versions (not required now but design with expansion in mind): feeding schedules, health monitoring, and potential hardware integrations.

Technical expectations
• Native or cross-platform framework is up to you, provided the final binaries meet App Store and Play Store requirements and pass their reviews.
• Local storage is fine for v1, though a simple cloud sync option (Firebase, Supabase, or similar) would be appreciated if it can be added without complicating the submission process.
• Clean, uncluttered UI that a busy farmer can navigate with gloves on—large buttons, clear typography, offline-first behaviour.

Deliverables
1. Source code repository with clear build instructions.
2. Tested iOS and Android release builds ready for store submission.
3. Brief user guide (PDF or in-app onboarding) outlining how to create, edit, and search animal records.
4. Post-launch support to fix any submission or critical runtime issues discovered within the first month.

If this aligns with your skill set and you can turn around a solid MVP quickly, let’s talk timelines and milestones.
