Heart-Rate Tracking App Development

I want to build a dedicated mobile app focused on real-time health tracking, with heart-rate monitoring as the first and most important metric. The goal is to give users a simple way to “eat well, apply healthy habits, and keep away from the doctor” by letting them see how their heart responds to daily activities.
Scope
• Cross-platform mobile development (iOS and Android)
• Continuous or on-demand heart-rate capture from a phone camera or paired wearable (Apple Watch, Fitbit, generic Bluetooth HR strap—whatever is easiest to integrate)
• Clean dashboard that shows current BPM, trends, and basic alerts when a threshold is crossed
• Secure user login with data stored locally and synced to the cloud for backup
• Lightweight, intuitive UI so anyone can open the app and understand their status in seconds
Nice-to-haves (not mandatory but leave the code ready for them): sleep tracking, calorie intake, or other vitals if we decide to expand later.
Acceptance criteria
1. App installs on both iOS and Android without crashes.
2. Reads heart-rate data accurately (±2 BPM of the source device) during a five-minute test.
3. Displays history graphs for at least 7 days.
4. Source code and build instructions delivered through GitHub or Bitbucket.
