GDPR-Compliant iOS MVP Build

I am ready to move from concept to a market-facing MVP and need an experienced iOS developer who can treat the app as a complete, production-grade system from day one. The core purpose of the product is “work,” meaning every decision—from database schema to UI micro-interactions—must serve busy professionals who expect reliability and speed.

Because real EU users will be on-boarded immediately after release, the build must respect GDPR and related data-protection regulations. That includes lawful-basis flows during sign-up, clear consent management, encryption at rest and in transit, minimisation of personal data, and an architecture that allows me to honour right-to-erasure and data-export requests without heroic effort. If you already use privacy-by-design checklists or Data Protection Impact Assessments, tell me; they will be part of the hand-off package.

Essential feature set:
• User authentication (email / SSO with secure password reset and MFA hooks)
• In-app messaging (real-time, GDPR-compliant retention rules, read receipts)
• Payment processing (monthly subscriptions via Apple In-App Purchase, with receipts stored securely)

I expect you to:
• Design and implement the SwiftUI front-end plus a lightweight but scalable backend (Firebase, AWS Amplify, or a solution you justify)
• Document data flows, encryption choices, and third-party dependencies clearly
• Provide unit and integration tests, plus automated App Store provisioning files
• Deliver source code via private Git repository and a TestFlight-ready build
