Create Cordova Unzip Plugin for iOS
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We need a Cordova plugin similar to cordova-plugin-zip (https://github.com/MobileChromeApps/cordova-plugin-zip) that can handle very large files and includes a progress event so we can display a progress bar. The zip files contain folders of images used to display maps. The zip file can be up to 600MB and contain up to 200,000 files - mostly png or jpg. The current plugin loads everything into RAM and freezes in iOS for files of this size.
The end product needs to be royalty free and licensed to include in a commercial product and optionally released as open source under an MIT license. The plugin must also be acceptable to the Apple Store. The source code can be written in Objective C or Swift.
On a standard 9th generation iPad, unzipping 500MB needs to finish in under 5 minutes.
