Build iOS Social Networking App
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m launching a brand-new social networking application for iPhone and need a Swift-savvy developer who can take it from concept to a polished TestFlight build.
Core functionality
• Realtime messaging (one-to-one and group chats)
• Dynamic, scrollable news feed for text, images, and short videos
Third-party integrations are required—for example push-notification, analytics, and media-storage SDKs—so familiarity with popular service APIs will be essential. Everything from authentication flow to App Store-ready provisioning should be handled within best-practice iOS architecture (UIKit or SwiftUI is fine as long as performance remains smooth).
Deliverables
1. Xcode project with clean, well-commented Swift code
2. Working build on TestFlight that demonstrates messaging and news-feed features connected to the chosen back-end/services
3. Brief hand-off document explaining project structure, pods/SPM packages, and how to switch API keys
Acceptance criteria
• Messages sync in under two seconds on standard LTE
• News feed paginates smoothly at 60 fps on iPhone 12 and newer
• No critical crashes detected after 24 hours on Firebase Crashlytics (or equivalent)
If you have shipped chat-heavy apps, know your way around modern iOS frameworks, and can work iteratively with clear milestones, I’d love to see your portfolio and proposed tech stack.
