AppsFlyer & Meta Ads Integration on iOS App
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
Here’s a detailed project overview with some questions a the bottom:
We’re looking to complete our AppsFlyer integration and add the Meta Ads SDK to our iOS app. The end goal is straightforward: we need to be able to run
paid ads (starting with Meta) The goal is to setup and connect AppsFlyer and Meta so we can attribute installs, subscriptions, and purchases back to specific ad campaigns and calculate ROAS.
### Current State
Our app already has a partial AppsFlyer integration focused on deferred deep linking and attribution. What's already in place:
- AppsFlyer SDK is installed and configured on launch with our Apple App ID and dev key
- AppsFlyer is started when the app becomes active
- Incoming universal links and URL opens are handled through AppsFlyer
- When a deferred deep link resolves, the token is passed into the external AccessLinkSystem package, which redeems the access link through its backend, refreshes
RevenueCat customer info, and dismisses any open Superwall paywall
- The AppsFlyer UID is sent to RevenueCat for attribution
- The required associated domain and custom URL scheme are present for OneLink routing
What's missing:
revenue and conversion event tracking. AppsFlyer is currently only
handling attribution/deep linking — it isn't receiving the in-app events
(downloads, trials, purchases, subscriptions, etc.) that we need to
measure ad profitability. We also have no Meta Ads SDK integration at
all.
What We Need Built
### 1. Complete the AppsFlyer event tracking layer
We need AppsFlyer to receive all the events that matter for calculating ROAS on our paid campaigns. At minimum:
- Install / first open (may already be firing — please verify)
- Paywall views / Superwall events (so we can measure funnel)
- Trial start
- Subscription start (with revenue, currency, product ID, subscription period)
- Subscription renewal
- Purchase / one-time purchase (with revenue and currency)
- Any other monetization events we agree are worth tracking
2. Add the Meta Ads SDK (Facebook SDK for iOS)
Install and configure the Meta SDK so Meta can attribute installs and in-app events to our campaigns. This includes:
- Installing the Facebook SDK via SPM (preferred) or CocoaPods
- Configuring Info.plist with the Meta App ID, client token, and display name
- Initializing the SDK on launch alongside AppsFlyer
- Implementing App Events that mirror the key monetization events above (fb_mobile_purchase, subscription, trial events, etc.)
- Handling ATT (App
Tracking Transparency) correctly — prompting at the right moment and
respecting the user's choice for both AppsFlyer and Meta
- Configuring Advanced Matching if appropriate
- SKAdNetwork / AdAttributionKit considerations (AppsFlyer handles most of this, but confirm nothing conflicts with Meta)
Technical Context
- iOS app, Swift
- RevenueCat for subscriptions/purchases
- Superwall for paywalls
- AppsFlyer SDK already integrated (partial)
- AccessLinkSystem is an external Swift package we maintain for redeeming access links
To apply, please reply with:
1. Your past experience
2. A cost estimate — rough total cost or hourly rate plus estimated hours
3. A timeline — how long you think this will take from kickoff to delivery
4. Any questions
