Ionic 6 mobile app for IoT device
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
We're a smart IoT startup based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. This project is an immediate need, but we hope to identify a long-term resource.
Project Description
This project is to create a mobile app to allow Wifi setup for the TI CC3235 Wifi based IoT device. We will provide firmware and hardware for testing. The contractor should provide the mobile codebase through a specified Bitbucket repo. More technical guidance can be provided after we proceed to the next step.
Requirements Overview
1. App framework
b. Angular Version: 13.2.4 (https://angular.io/guide/releases)
c. Ionic Angular Version: 6.0.8 (https://ionicframework.com/docs)
d. Capacitor Version: 3.4.1 (https://capacitorjs.com/docs)
2. Functionality
a. Able to connect to the IoT device, scan and select the Wifi network, discover the device after it's online and confirm the connection.
3. UI/UX
a. We don’t care about UI design as long as it’s functional, so keep it simple to minimize time spent on this.
b. Users shouldn’t need to leave the mobile app during the entire process.
4. OS support
a. iOS 11+
b. Android 8+
Deliverables
- Well-commented mobile app source code which includes the ionic project, native projects, and any library dependencies.
- The app can be built without errors and pass the functional tests to provision the Wifi module in AP mode for both Android and iOS devices.
