Islamic Wedding Invitation Design
I. Introduction & Project Overview
Project Title: Elegant, Two-Page Islamic Wedding Invitation Suite (Iqbal & Sifa)
This project requires a skilled freelance graphic designer to create a custom, high-end, two-page wedding invitation based on traditional Islamic and South Asian aesthetics. The design must be unique, highly readable, and suitable for high-quality printing.
The purpose of this card is to respectfully communicate all necessary event and family details while maintaining an elegant, custom aesthetic that aligns with Islamic traditions.
II. Design Style & Requirements
A. Aesthetic Goal
• Style: Elegant, Islamic, and Traditional (avoiding overly modern or simple typography).
• Key Elements: Must include beautiful Arabic calligraphy (for Bismillah and a relevant Quranic verse like Surah Ar-Rum 30:21).
• Patterns: Utilize subtle, intricate Islamic geometric or arabesque floral patterns (similar to the gold borders in the previous samples) as borders and dividers.
• Color Palette: Preference for a classic and rich palette (e.g., deep maroon/emerald green with gold accents, or a soft cream/ivory with dark text).
B. Deliverables
1. Front Cover Design: The finished, print-ready design for the card's front cover.
2. Inside Left Page Design (Program): The finished, print-ready design for all event logistics.
3. Inside Right Page Design (Compliments): The finished, print-ready design for all family and host details.
III. Scope of Work (Content & Layout)
The final design must clearly accommodate the following content across the three designated areas:
1. Front Cover (One Page)
• Top Invocation: Bismillah in prominent calligraphy.
• Main Names: Iqbal & Sifa (Large, elegant font).
• Logo: A single, centered I&S Monogram (with three lines beneath it).
• Invitees Space: Three clearly defined lines near the bottom for handwritten guest names ("With Regards To:").
2. Inside Left Page (Program Details)
• Event Headings: Haldi Ceremony, Baraat, Walima (Reception).
• Baraat Details: Must include separate, clear space to write the Departure Address and the Arrival/Destination Address.
• All three events (Haldi, Baraat, Walima) must be placed on this single page.
