Expert Mid-Cap Stock Option Choice-Making & Analysis to Justify

Job ID: 39158482

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

A friend has a colleague with a large holding in a mid-cap stock.
He has been asked to provide some perspective to the colleague, and offer his thoughts on utility of simpler options choices if it is warranted.
I want to help him, I have six years of trading, but am weak when it comes to evaluating the financials, determining over all health, determining the outlook, understand earnings results, gauge that against worldwide uncertainty and market health, other stuff that you think is important to share with his colleague.

My friend provided his colleague with an initial response, which gave the colleague a choice of three paths, depending on the colleagues optimism. For each path, the choices were optimized based on hold(no options), covered calls, bull put spreads, puts, and cash covered puts. I did not consider collars though. My friend also explained to his colleague the tax implications, new york specific. Selling is an option too, he didnt mention that to his colleague, as he still does not know how long his colleague has held the underlying. Nor did he consider the fact that the stock may pay dividends, or when. A more robust treatment is deserved. Anyway...

My friends optimizations were a good start I think, based on the ask/bid,price,iv,greeks, evaluating those choices in the regime of +/-10% price of the underlying. I can share the details of that email with you later.

My friend does not feel like he really 'knocked it out of the park', and wants to provide a better response. These additional considerations, like selling a portion or hedging or watching out for dividends... all of the available choices and recommendations need to be very clear and avoid expensive errors.

Few small details: In addition to your response, I want projections, charts, the (semi-)latest bloomberg pdf (if that is a thing), updated outputs from the stock company, the latest financial report (important: include your personal analysis of what it is actually saying, and what to see of value in the future, compared to previous report(s)). I need earnings dates upcoming and what to expect of them, +/-, what the options are saying, what unusual options activity or bulk activity might be/have been present over the last two weeks. Include timelines for exiting options activity in order to avoid dividend problems. Include a flowchart of choices maybe (that would be cool, like a daily heatmap or something), for each possible choice, for each week until expiry of the particular option choices. That last part may be too detailed a focus, sorry sometimes I ramble, but I dont really know the extent of material you can collect and assemble for someone making a large choice in their account.

NOTE: Any files are sent through a personal firewall of my company, that is geared to report specific violations of automated / copyright infringement. If you copy from AI, or from any report, I will lose my job, and you will not be able to be considered for further projects. Do not even think about using it. I would have asked AI already instead of reaching out to you, so please respect that.

Also note: I only have optionstrat subscription, yahoo finance vanilla and robinhood and a few other things, but I can still tell that the current market condition, at least as of thursday being extreme fear, put us in a wierd place: We see a shooting star on monthly NQ and Doji on ES; no capitulation, record high on world uncertainty index, no strong spike on VIX this , no touch of 200dma, and put/call ratio below 1 (counterintuitive, but anyway). Overheard someone say 'fade the rip'. Seeing possible inverse head and shoulders action, but this all could dump further, due to global instability. Our exceptionalism is a poison sometimes. did fantastic on friday, but we may be in trouble.
