Social Impact Investment Process & Tools Design

We are a new social impact investment organization and need to quickly develop lean and easy-to-use tools across our investment process. We found best practices from EVPA that are written in detail across numerous documents for the key focus areas across the investment process (key documents attached). We need someone to read and distill these best practices laid out very thoroughly in the EVPA documents into a simple operational business process and associated data templates (for example, forms with key data elements to collect and analyze) that include the critical analyses that need to be completed across the investment process. Speed is the most critical skill in this project.

The investment process includes:
- Deal screening
- Due diligence
- Investment decision and deal structuring
- Investment management
- Exit
- Evaluation and post-exit follow-up

The various critical analysis components that require data gathering to make appropriate decisions across the investment process include:
- Financial support design
- Non-financial support design
- Impact measurement and monitoring design
- Exit strategy design
