Child Abuse Case - Investigative Reporting

I’m reaching out regarding a situation involving someone close to me. I’ve been in the background for the most part just listening to the stories. However, I have now witnessed a five year old girl scared to death to go to her father multiple times even though there has been reported sexual assault. I’ve never seen a child so terrified in my life to visit a parent. I’m very level headed with a military background so I've witnessed many things that aren’t pleasant. This was different to me and I could see the fear in this little girls eyes. Cops have been called twice this weekend alone and have advised for the mother to not send the child based on how she was fighting with everything in her to not be around him.
There’s also a witness that is planning to testify about known child pornography involving the father too. From my understanding, the court system is failing this child. Even the lawyer is expecting 50/50 custody to remain in August even though the daughter has detailed sexual assault and there is substantiated evidence. There have been multiple highly questionable instances within the process. To include CPS, the judge, and local police who messed up from the beginning by not following the proper procedures when sexual assault is reported to an organization.
Ultimately, as a father myself, I’m worried for this little girls safety and the trauma she’s enduring. I think any type of inquiry could help. Whether it’s starting a story, doing some digging, or reaching out to any of the offices for comment on the case. I never planned to get involved but with what I’ve seen I can’t standby and do nothing.
