Zoho Books Implementation for Supplement Trading
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
Subject: Requirement for Zoho Books Implementation – Trading Business
I have recently started a new trading business dealing in bodybuilding protein supplements. I purchase products in bulk at discounted wholesale prices and maintain stock in my office.
Currently, I have three salespersons. Their role is to visit gyms in designated areas and sell our protein products to gym instructors, who then resell them to end customers. Each salesperson has assigned sales targets, and commissions are paid upon achieving those targets.
At present, we are using an accounting software called Vaipar. However, we are facing several operational challenges:
• The sales team is not very tech-savvy.
• There are frequent duplicate entries of products and customers.
• Invoices and payment receipts are not being recorded systematically.
• Difficulty in tracking stock movement and sales performance properly.
I would like to implement Zoho Books for this business and require proper setup and guidance to ensure:
• Clean and structured product and customer database.
• Easy invoice and payment entry system for salespersons.
• Proper inventory tracking.
• Commission tracking based on sales targets.
• User access control for sales staff.
• Migration of existing data from Vaipar (if possible).
Additionally, I would like to implement a barcode system. I want barcode readers to be installed so that the salesperson can simply scan the product and automatically add it to the sales invoice. This will help prevent duplicate product creation and reduce manual errors.
Kindly advise:
• Whether Zoho Books alone is sufficient or if Zoho Inventory integration is recommended.
• How barcode scanning can be implemented (hardware + software setup).
• Implementation cost and timeline.
• Training support for staff.
Looking forward to your guidance and proposal.
Best regards,
Hussain Shakir
