Whatnot Auction Setup Support
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I run regular live auctions on Whatnot where I sell pallet-pull household-item mystery boxes. The livestream itself is already handled; what I need is the complete pre-show setup on the Whatnot seller dashboard so that, when I go live, every lot is ready for bidding and clearly presented to viewers.
Key tasks
• Create and organise all lots in the show, using the photos, titles and quick descriptions I supply.
• Schedule the stream for the agreed date/time, making sure it is visible to followers for pre-bids and reminders.
• Enter accurate weight and shipping details for each lot so the automatic label system works without adjustments.
• Double-check that starting bids, buy-it-now items (when applicable) and any reserve prices reflect my notes.
• Ensure the show thumbnail, category and tags are optimised for maximum visibility inside Whatnot.
• Provide a brief confirmation checklist so I can quickly review everything before going live.
Tools involved: Whatnot seller dashboard (desktop web), basic image-editing software for quick cropping/resizing if needed.
Acceptance criteria
1. All lots show “Ready” status in the dashboard at least 24 hours before the scheduled start.
2. Shipping weights pass Whatnot’s automatic label validation with no errors.
3. I can join the preview link and see every lot in the correct order with photos and starting bids.
If you already manage or have set up shows on Whatnot, this should be a straightforward task; experience with live-sale platforms in general is also helpful.
