Sage 50 Canada to QBO Migration

I need an experienced accountant or bookkeeper who has successfully moved data from Sage 50 (Canada desktop) into QuickBooks Online and can give my client a clean fresh start for January 1, 2026.

Scope of work
• Design a streamlined Chart of Accounts in QBO, eliminating the clutter that has built up in Sage.
• Enter opening balances dated 01-Jan-2026 so that every balance-sheet account ties back perfectly to Sage.
• Import Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Inventory subledgers at the individual-invoice level; all outstanding items must reconcile to the opening balances you load.
• Bring in exactly two years of historical activity (Jan 2024-Dec 2025). This history only needs to appear as one summary journal per month, yet totals must reconcile to Sage trial balances.

What I will provide
• Full Sage 50 backup, trial balances, and aging reports.
• Inventory valuation and count sheets as at 31-Dec-2025.
• My availability to answer account-mapping questions quickly.

Acceptance criteria
1. Opening balances in QBO agree to Sage trial balance as at 31-Dec-2025.
2. AR, AP, and Inventory detail in QBO ties to Sage aging reports invoice-by-invoice.
3. Monthly summary journals for 2024-2025 reconcile back to Sage financial statements.
4. You supply a brief migration report outlining steps, checks performed, and any exceptions.
