SAP Cost Automation Program

I’m looking to automate the monthly cost cycle for Syrup, Sugar, Ethanol, and Power inside SAP. The goal is a program that sits neatly on top of SAP FICO and SAP PP, does the hard math for both direct and indirect costs, allocates overheads, and then pushes the final figures straight into inventory valuation—no manual uploads, no lag, always up-to-date standard costs.

What the program must do
• Run detailed cost calculations and overhead allocations every month.
• Feed the results automatically into the inventory module so stock values stay accurate.
• Track budget utilisation by highlighting monthly variances for each department.

Technical expectations
• Built with standard SAP tooling (ABAP/BAPI/BADI as appropriate).
• Parameter-driven so I can add or change cost elements without touching code.
• Full transport package, documentation, and a sandbox demo showing the month-end run in action.

Acceptance criteria
1. End-to-end demo covering cost run, postings, and inventory update.
2. Variance report clearly surfacing monthly swings.
3. Code and documentation delivered, imported, and tested in QA without errors.
