Remote Laptop Custodian & Support

I need a reliable professional who can take custody of company-issued laptops shipped directly to you, check each box against the packing slip, photograph and log every serial number, then store the devices in a secure, access-controlled area. While the hardware is in your possession you must leave the drive image untouched—no boot-ups, no password attempts, no alterations of any kind—until I explicitly authorise it.

Alongside that custodial work, your main day-to-day duty is end-user support focused on software installation and updates. Most users run Windows 10/11 and macOS Ventura/Sonoma. You’ll connect over our approved remote-control tools (Intune, JAMF, or TeamViewer) to push new applications, apply patches, and confirm everything is up to date. If a package fails or a user has questions, you’ll diagnose the issue, document what you did, and close the ticket once the software runs smoothly.

Deliverables I will review:
• A signed intake log with photos and matching serial numbers for every shipment
• A simple custody tracker (Excel or Google Sheet) kept current until the devices leave your hands
• Weekly report of software installs/updates completed, including any troubleshooting steps taken and final status per user

Success is defined by perfect inventory accuracy, zero unauthorised access to the hardware, and timely completion of all Windows and macOS software tasks. If you already have a secure workspace and proven experience with remote patching tools, you’re exactly who I’m looking for.
