I’m looking for a dependable person who can come to a Miramar, Florida location a few times a week and handle the physical side of our order-flow for a line of small metal, glass made and electronic items. Once onsite you’ll take ownership of three core tasks—prepping outgoing parcels, keeping things accurate, and making sure every unit that leaves has passed a quick visual and functional check.
Here’s what the weekly routine looks like:
• Packaging & shipping – print labels in FedEx / UPS systems, pick the right parts, protect them with appropriate dunnage, seal and leave the envelopes / boxes ready for the carrier to pick them up.
• Inventory management – do inventory counts, and arrange products based on SKU #s.
• Quality control – inspect inventory for scratches / dents or hardware damages (occasional power-on test where applicable), then confirm item is fine.
Everything will happen in a small space, initial setup is needed. Flexible schedule is about one or two days a week (about 2–4 hours per visit).
Because the products are compact and valuable, attention to detail is critical: mislabeled boxes or missed defects quickly turn into costly returns. If you’ve run a Shopify, Etsy or Amazon backroom, previously have done kitting and love to keep things organized, you’ll feel right at home.
