Inventory System & Integration Specialist (Cin7 Core / Xero) - Part-Time

Hi, we are a small Australia-based accounting firm.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory System & Integration Specialist to join our team on a flexible, remote contractor basis. This role will initially involve several hours per month, with strong potential to scale into ongoing, consistent work as our client projects grow.

You will work closely with our core accounting and operations team to help our clients improve inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and reporting visibility.

Responsibilities
Cin7 Core system review and troubleshooting
Xero and Cin7 Core integration checking
Inventory workflow review and recommendations
eCommerce integration support (Shopify, WooCommerce, marketplaces, payment gateways)
Account mapping and system configuration review
Inventory reconciliation and reporting review
Workflow testing and go-live support
Identifying operational and system issues for clients
Assisting with workload management processes and operational workflow improvements
Supporting the development of internal SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and workflow systems where required

Ideal Experience
We are looking for someone with experience in:
Cin7 Core / Dear Inventory
Xero integration
Inventory management systems
eCommerce operational workflows
Product-based businesses
System implementation or support
Inventory troubleshooting and workflow optimization
Manufacturing experience in Cin7 Core

Preferred Skills
Strong problem-solving ability
Ability to review and identify system/process issues
Good communication skills
Experience working with growing wholesale, manufacturing, or eCommerce businesses
Understanding of inventory accounting and operational processes
Ability to help structure workflows, task management, and SOP documentation
This role would work alongside our accounting team to support clients in improving operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, financial visibility, and internal workflow systems.

Hours: Part-time/Flexible (Starts with several hours per month, with excellent potential to grow as client volume increases)
Location: 100% Remote (Work from home)
Schedule: Flexible. AU time
