Excel Inventory Automation & Checkout
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I need a single, easy-to-use Excel workbook that keeps my stock in order, triggers automatic reordering, and lets my team complete each sale in a smooth, friction-free checkout sheet.
Core goal
• Automate reordering – as soon as an item hits its preset minimum, the file must know which supplier to use and prepare the next step for me.
Supplier management built in
• Maintain a clear supplier contact database right inside the file.
• Track and store supplier contracts so I can see expiry dates and terms at a glance.
Checkout flow
I want staff to enter the product code, quantity and payment method and have stock levels update instantly, with no risk of overwriting formulas. A clean, form-style interface or a small VBA user form is fine—whatever keeps it fast and fool-proof.
What I’ll accept as the final hand-off
1. Locked-down Excel workbook (or macro-enabled file) that delivers all three areas above.
2. Clear, commented VBA (if used) plus a brief “how-to” note so I can tweak thresholds and add new suppliers later.
3. All functionality tested on the current Microsoft 365 desktop version.
Optional extras such as low-stock alerts or fully automated purchase-order emails would be nice to discuss once the core file is stable, but they’re not required for this phase.
If you have done similar Excel/VBA inventory tools before, share a quick demo or screenshot so I can see your approach.
