Comprehensive Audit for Inventory & POS Systems

We are looking for an experienced Inventory Systems Expert to conduct a comprehensive audit of our existing inventory and POS-integrated system. The goal is to validate that all components are correctly implemented, aligned with industry best practices, and optimized for accuracy, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Our system includes stock tracking, purchase orders (PO), goods receipt notes (GRN), production workflows, waste management, inventory management, stock checks, and POS-based ordering (food industry).

Key Responsibilities
* Perform a full audit of the inventory management system and its integration with the POS system
* Review workflows including:
* Stock tracking and adjustments
* Purchase Orders (PO) and Goods Receipt Notes (GRN)
* Production events and ingredient consumption
* Waste management processes
* Inventory counts and stock reconciliation
* Validate data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across all modules
* Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or incorrect implementations
* Ensure alignment with industry best practices (especially in food & beverage operations)
* Review system logic, edge cases, and exception handling
* Provide a detailed report with findings, risks, and recommendations
* Suggest improvements for scalability, automation, and performance
* Optionally propose process re-designs or system enhancements

Requirements
* Proven experience with inventory management systems (preferably in F&B, retail, or manufacturing)
* Strong understanding of:
* POS-integrated inventory systems
* Supply chain workflows (PO → GRN → Stock → Production → Sales)
* Costing methods (FIFO, weighted average, etc.)
* Experience auditing or consulting on similar systems
* Ability to identify logical flaws, data inconsistencies, and process gaps
* Familiarity with ERP systems or custom-built inventory solutions
* Strong analytical and documentation skills
