On-call English interpreters for Vietnamese/Cantonese/Mandarin
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
ULG- United Language Group is URGENTLY seeking On-call English interpreters for Vietnamese, Cantonese and Mandarin. (ENGLISH - Vietnamese/Cantonese/Mandarin and vice versa in calls). Please note that this is a long-term position.
Working location: Remote
Job description:
• Fluency in English and the Target languages.
• Providing accurate verbal interpretation for limited English proficient (LEP) patients and families, members whose primary language is not English.
• Knowledge and/or experience with the culture(s) associated with the TARGET languages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent listening, retention and note taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Patience, reliability, and professionalism.
• High-speed, reliable Internet connection and noise-free working environment are required.
• Experience as an interpreter is preferred.
Rate: 0.20 USD per minute of interpreting. Please note that waiting time is not counted. We do not hire people who live in the U.S.
