Zoom Medical Interpretation
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I require a proficient interpreter who is fluent in Portuguese and English for a 1-2 hour zoom call. Consider this a psychological consultant session where the doctor is an English speaker and the patient is a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker. The interpreter will be responsible for facilitating communication between the doctor and patient, ensuring that information is accurately conveyed and understood by both parties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform consecutive interpretation, ensuring that all parties have an opportunity to speak and be understood.
- Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of the information being relayed.
Ideal Candidate:
- Native or fluent in both Portuguese and English.
- Proven experience in medical/psychological interpretation.
- Punctual and reliable for the 1-2 hour commitment.
- Ensures confidentiality and professionalism throughout the call.
This is not an urgent requirement, and the date of the consultation has not been set yet. It is expected that there will be more than one consultation, probably half a dozen to a dozen appointments.
