British Sign Language Video Interpreter Needed
Budget: £200 – £300 GBP
Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and flexible freelance British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter to provide high-quality interpretation for pre-recorded videos to our audience. This will involve interpreting videos of up to 2 minutes long, ensuring the BSL interpretation is clear, accurate, and matches the content.
Provide BSL interpretation for videos up to 2 minutes in length.
Deliver raw green screen footage to be integrated by us into final video content.
Work to tight deadlines (4-5 days turnaround) and adapt to last-minute changes when necessary.
Collaborate closely with our team to understand the context and requirements for each video project.
Requirements:
Fluency in British Sign Language (BSL), with proven experience interpreting for video content.
Flexibility to meet tight deadlines, with the ability to turn around work within 4-5 days.
Project Details:
We have two initial video projects to begin with, followed by ongoing work.
Project 1: An announcement of an award. We are currently finalising the details for this. It will likely involve our Founder and Chair talking to camera, with some slides interspersed explaining our initiative and how to apply. We are also working to confirm the deadline of when the recording will be ready. However, we imagine there will only be a 5 day turnaround.
