Secure WordPress Site from Hacking
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
My WordPress site is being compromised, and my .htaccess file keeps getting overwritten. I've already installed security plugins and changed all passwords, but the issue persists.
I'm looking for an expert who can:
- Investigate and identify how the site is being hacked
- Secure the site to prevent future breaches
- Provide a detailed report on the vulnerabilities found
Ideal skills and experience:
- Strong background in WordPress security
- Experience with .htaccess and server configurations
- Ability to diagnose and fix security issues
- Knowledge of common hacking methods targeting WordPress sites
The main site is a custom build but we use wordpress for the blog and anouther internal platform.
We keep on having to rewind the version to get it live, found malicious script inside the website that was outside the blog but we think there is some sort of cron job running that is recreating the issue which changes the HT Access file.
The website is back up for now but it seems around 4am (GMT+2) it reverts.
