Help receive authenticator code from Facebook

I've had my Facebook account compromised, while it was compromised I did try and add an authenticator code which I was able to do but did not get chance to get the details of the code or QR code. now I have been logged out can not get in to my account I can change the password but then it asks for the authenticator code (which I can not get as I have been logged out of the app) where Facebook tells me to get the code from.
Basically I am now in a loop of being able to change my password but can't get in as it needs a code,
If anyone can help me figure out how to get the code that would be appreciated
