Find 1,100 interesting and unusual places on Google Earth
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
Research and data collation / collection project for co-ordinates on Google Earth. Please read to the end, as I have very specific requirements.
Hi and thank you for checking. This project is for the collection and classification of 1,100 interesting, unusual, or fun places / things that can be seen on Google Earth – that fit within our themes / categories (available on request, please DM me).
These places / things can be anywhere on the planet; the main criteria is they’re clearly visible on Google Earth, and they’re likely permanent (so a temporary building would be no good, but something like the Gigante de Tarapacá would be acceptable)
Your task would be to:
1. Research / find places
2. Record the co-ordinates in DMS & DD formats
3. Provide a title / short description of the place / thing
4. Note the location of the place / thing
5. Note the theme / category this item fits into
6. Record any other pertinent notes
I have completed the first 35, already, which can be used as an example of what we are after (again, available on request, please DM me).
When placing your bid, please open with the traditional Irish greeting, Dia dhuit, so I know you’ve read all the way to the end (thank you).
Data is to be supplied in an Excel Spreadsheet or Google Sheet.
