Find A Forgotten Rock Music Video From Around 2018
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
$50
I'm looking for a rock song that got a little attention (no more than 100 or so upvotes, if that) on the 'listentothis' subreddit around 2017 or 2018, the music video for which was on YouTube. The only distinguishing thing I can remember is that it had a music video in which a sweaty/greasy Caucasian man (around 30 years old, a bit portly, brown/blonde hair) sings in a somewhat uncomfortable closeup for a lot of the video. The background was greenscreened to be pink or another bright garish color. There were also some shots of his bandmates playing their instruments, including guitar. The themes of the song involved school, or memory, or your old hometown, or cars, or feeling good, or something like that. It’s upbeat, contemporary rock (with a little indie/pop-punk influence perhaps), and I think no more than 3 minutes long. The YouTube video at the time had I believe only a few thousand or tens of thousands of views and was not from a well-known band.
I will know whether or not it is the correct song immediately if you find it. If you can find a list of songs (youtube links) - no more than 50 - which vaguely match, I’m happy to check whether it is within the candidates. You will have to take my word on whether or not you’ve found the correct song, at which point I will provide the $50 bounty. Thanks!
