Build me a List/Database of Online Videos That Match My Criteria
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Hello friends!
I have a project for you to consider and I really look forward to getting your help with it.
The project is simple: You will search video hosting sites like YouTube, LiveLeak, EngageMedia, Itemfix, Xfinity, Ebaum's World, etc for videos that match a very specific criteria (outlined below), and then you will build a list of links to these videos in Google Sheets, with the descriptions and lengths of each one.
Here is the challenging part: this project is not for everyone. You see, I am a self-defense instructor here in the USA and I teach people to avoid, de-escalate, and survive criminal violence. In order to do that, it is essential that I teach people what real-world violence is and what it looks like. This means video, and it means that in order to do this project, you will need to be able to watch a great number of videos featuring real-world violence.
Please ONLY bid on this project if you believe you have the constitution for objectively viewing content of this nature. I do not wish to make your life worse. That said, please do understand that you are ultimately saving lives and helping people with this work, as well as bringing about the greatest level of good from the violence within these videos. (Their sacrifice has already been made; we might as well extract the maximum amount of wisdom from these situations).
I think it makes most sense to compensate you per video that you submit. I will score the videos based on a few criteria, and I can pay more for higher quality videos. Here is the scoring system:
[$7 PER VIDEO] - Shows a privately-armed individual (ie, NOT A COP) defending (or trying to defend) himself/herself against a criminal.
[$4 PER VIDEO] - Video is extremely grainy; very difficult to see what is happening on video; the victim in the video doesn't fight back.
-$2 PER VIDEO - Video features law enforcement / cops. I really can only use videos that feature privately-armed citizens.
Alright, my friend. Thank you for reading and considering. So that I know you've read up to this point, please begin your proposal with "I'm with you on this one, Pat. I see that this work will ultimately help people and save lives." Pardon the strange request, but doing this allows me to eliminate 80% of generic bids, so if you DO do this, you actually have a much better chance of being selected.
Thank you so much, friends.
Pat
