Website Manager (WordPress/WooCommerce) for Original Wall Art Brand
We’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented freelancer to manage and optimise our WordPress/WooCommerce site, CaptainColor.com.au.. You’ll handle product uploads, SEO for images and metadata, and keyword research to drive organic traffic. Success will be measured by traffic growth over a three-month trial.
Responsibilities
Upload and format new products with consistent layouts and descriptions
Craft SEO-optimised image titles, alt text, meta titles, and meta descriptions using provided keywords
Research related keywords and autocomplete suggestions to expand our keyword set
Organise and refine product categories to reflect our focus on original wall art
Monitor site performance and report monthly on traffic, rankings, and SEO improvements
Requirements
Proven experience managing WordPress + WooCommerce sites
Strong on-page SEO skills, including image SEO and keyword research
Excellent written English, high attention to detail, and a knack for consistency
Trustworthy, transparent, punctual, and available for timely communication
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and suggest SEO enhancements
Timeline & Budget
We’ll start with a 3-month contract at a fair hourly or fixed rate in AUD. If you drive measurable traffic growth and improved rankings within that period, we’ll discuss a pay increase and ongoing work.
