We’re a digital marketing company that helps local and international clients grow through smart, results-driven strategies. Right now, we’re on the hunt for a freelancer who knows their way around SEO — specifically someone who can build quality backlinks and boost local search rankings.
We’re not a big agency with layers of red tape. Just a small, fast-moving team that needs someone reliable we can plug in when SEO work comes in.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Building high-quality, white-hat backlinks from relevant sources
Setting up or updating local directory listings (NAP consistency, citations, etc.)
Optimising Google Business Profiles
Auditing competitor backlinks and finding smart opportunities
Sending through reports showing what you’ve done and what moved the needle
Helping us improve local rankings for service-based businesses
You Should Be:
Confident with backlink building and local SEO best practices
Up-to-date with Google’s guidelines (no spammy links here)
Comfortable using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, BrightLocal, or similar
Organised, self-managed, and able to hit deadlines
Straightforward communicator — no fluff, just honest results
Nice to Have:
Experience working with Aussie businesses
Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT to streamline parts of your workflow
Past wins you can show us (before/after rankings, DA growth, etc.)
The Deal:
Freelance — project-based or monthly, depending on the fit
Remote work, flexible hours
Pay based on experience — tell us your rates and what you can deliver
