Part-time Online Category Manager Needed
Budget: ₹10,000 – ₹12,000 INR
Job Title: Online Category Manager, Remote, 2 hours per day
Location: Remote
Work hours: 2 hours a day with group calls on Saturday. OK if done with another job.
Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and strategic-minded Online Category Manager to join our dynamic e-commerce team. As the Online Category Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance and growth for our learning games in online market place. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, creativity, and a creative problem solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory planning: Ensure that we maintain the right inventory levels for each of our SKUs. Predict future demands basis seasons and current trends and manage re-stocking of inventory from our vendors
Performance Monitoring: Analyze category performance metrics (sales, profitability, inventory turnover, etc.) and derive actionable insights to optimize assortment and improve overall category performance.
Marketing and content creation: Work on refreshing product details in line with latest search trends and user feedback. This getting videos, images and product descriptions by self and via relevant vendors. Ensuring timely update
Day to day issue resolution: Resolve all marketplace related problems on a timely basis.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience (3 years+) in category management, preferably in an e-commerce setup like Amazon, Shopyfy especially for off shore clients in UK/Europe/US/UAE etc
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to drive decisions and strategy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
