Marketing expert but nothing to do with websites or socail media

i formed a "marketing committe" in my company. the committee consits of three people and in an effort to speah head their first few meetings, i would like an expert to assist us. i dont even know where to begin. We are a financial services company and making the sales process greater for our clients is paramount.
