Google Ranking Audit & Upgrade
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
My business-services site isn’t showing up on Google as strongly as it should. Before we jump into fixes, I need a clear, data-driven picture of where things stand, why pages are buried, and what to do about it—then I want those recommendations put into action.
Here’s how I see the collaboration unfolding:
1. Diagnostic audit
• Crawl the full site and benchmark current keyword positions, Core Web Vitals, backlink quality, and any manual penalties or indexation problems reported in Google Search Console.
• Present the findings in plain language, highlighting the technical, on-page, and off-page issues that are holding visibility back.
2. Actionable strategy
• Prioritised roadmap that covers quick wins (meta data fixes, internal linking, schema) through to longer-term work (content gaps, authority building).
• Clear rationale for every recommendation so I understand the “why,” not just the “what.”
3. Implementation & optimisation
• Execute the agreed items directly on the site (WordPress CMS) or prepare ready-to-upload assets/code snippets for my developer when server access is restricted.
• Set up tracking tags and Google Analytics 4 goals so we can measure the visibility lift.
4. Feedback loop
• After changes go live, supply a concise report on ranking movement and any remaining blockers, with suggestions for continuous improvement.
Acceptance criteria
• Baseline and post-implementation ranking reports delivered in spreadsheet or Data Studio format.
• All critical technical errors resolved or clearly documented with next steps.
• Roadmap items marked complete or flagged with impediments.
If you’re fluent with industry-standard tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and of course Google Search Console & GA4, I’d love to hear how you would approach this and an estimated timeline to first visible gains.
