Google Analytics Troubleshooting

We are looking for someone who can look into GTM Settings, GA Report and analyse those insight to answer for the question: "Where does direct traffic in GA come from?"
Our website hat more than 30% of traffic comes directly to our website. While looking into other dimensions to have a better understanding of this group, we found something: Most of this traffic lands on the known site, like Sign-In and Sign-Up page, which we think the number don't correspond with the actual visitor. Some of them come to a "(not set)" page. We think all of these can due to the fact that, there are error/probleme in our GA Settings.
