Google Ads suspension for Circumventing Systems - help with appeal. -- 2
Budget: $10 – $500 AUD
Looking for GA expert who has dealt with suspension appeals.
On my first Affiliate Marketing YouTube Ad, with my first Campaign and I got my account suspended for Circumventing Systems. Followed about an hour later for Unpaid Balance.
I was running a YouTube video Ad, linked to a Landing Page, with Privacy and Terms pages.
There were three links on the page to a MaxWeb affiliate Product. It is a Prostate product.
I was also running UTM’s and ClickMagick trackers.
When I first loaded the Campaign, I received the red “Not Enabled” notice, with an explanation about text not using exclamation marks, so I took out the exclamation marks and resubmitted. Then it came back “Enabled”, so I began the Campaign with a $150 test amount, and a tCPA of $30. It didn’t get any traction, so I raised the tCPA by $10 every 30min, and it eventually kicked in at a tCPA of $90.
I had to go away from my PC, so I loaded the GA App onto my Android to keep an eye on it. After a couple of hours, I noticed it was serving a different demographic than what I had set. It was a male only campaign 45+ , but it was serving women as well, and across all age groups. I looked on the mobile app for a way to pause the campaign but couldn’t find it, so I sent a message to help asking if it was possible to pause from the app but received no reply. I eventually got back to my computer about four hours later, by which time it had spent about $90.
I thought I might have set something up incorrectly with the tracking, so I paused the campaign and contacted GA Chat support. The CR took note of the info and said someone would call me. Somebody did call me back about an hour later but I was unable to take it. About 20 minutes later I called GA but it was after hours so no one picked up.
I left the Campaign on pause overnight, with the intention of contacting GA the following day. I woke up to find the account suspended for Circumventing Systems and a couple of hours later a second suspension for Unpaid Balance. The balance was not due until the end of November, and I had a couple of Credit Cards registered but I paid it off immediately manually. The next day they actually credited back some of the spend, which I guess might have been for the incorrect targeting.
I made an initial appeal but received a negative response. So, I’ve been researching what I might have done wrong, to enable the best chance of success in getting my account unsuspended.
I will supply the URL’s to the successful candidate and I have screenshots throughout the process.
Looking for a Google Certified expert who has experience in getting accounts unsuspended.
